The Sydney War Cemetery is the largest war cemetery in Australia with 734 graves, memorial to 741 missing, and a cremations memorial to 199

 

Springvale, Victoria has 611 graves, and cremations memorial to 72

 

Cowra Japanese War Cemetery in Victoria has 523 graves, including those of Prisoners of War who died in the attempted break out from Cowra in 1944, aircrew shot down in Northern Australia and Japanese civilian internees who died in Australia during World War II. 

 

Perth War Cemetery has 493 graves including 16 from World War I. 

 

Adelaide River War Cemetary has 434 graves, graves of 64 civilians killed in war service (including the nine who died when the Post Office was bombed during the first air raid) and a memorial to 293 missing.  Graves are indexed alphabetically by name at Adelaide River War Graves
