Northern Territory

The high profile tourist area of Central Australia is very poorly serviced with dump points, with only two dump points #. One is at the waste disposal area in Alice Springs, and the other in the industrial area at Yulara.  Fortunately there is a lot of desert sand in between!  Take a good shovel and go well away from water courses, rest areas, National Parks and dwellings.

# Update: Dump point now at Kings Canyon (behind servo) is in operation although this does not appear in most dump point listings as yet.  Open to the public and free.

Thanks in part to the work of the CMCA, the northern part of the Northern Territory is better catered for with public dump points.  These may not be open all hours.
