Local stone has been placed to form the trail which crosses a rocky ridge, giving views to the south and east (above and at right).

Then the trail goes across Mulareenya Creek (dry when we were there) to Yappa Rock Aboriginal rock painting site (below), which is fenced off to prevent damage and can be seen from the viewing platform.  Some resources date these painting going back as far as 40,000 years old.  More recent painting can be seen as well as the ancient. 

Mulgowan (Yappa) Aboriginal Art Site. A 700 metre walk trail (total 1.4 kilometres return). 
Different types of rock can be seen along the way (above and at left).
